Teenage Cancer Trust meets the England Football teamPublished April 12, 2014
I spent the day at St George’s Park, The FA’s fantastic training facility in Staffordshire with some teenage cancer patients and the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Raheem Sterling, Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart, Jack Wilshire, Jermain Defoe, Theo Walcott, Steven Gerrard and James Milner. We spent some time on the pitch with the players, who were fantastic – chatting, signing things and letting the youngsters take penalty kicks. Joe Hart even took off his boots at one point, signed them and handed them to one of the lucky teenagers. The England Football team and the FA have been very supportive of the Teenage Cancer Trust and after I had shot the ad campaign images I managed to take a few portraits of the players.
